Which Class Is Right For You?

Beginners

Iyengar class for beginners. Want to see what Iyengar yoga can do for you?

Let’s start at the very beginning, building carefully to explore how yoga can help you. We will work through the basic poses and familiarise you with them.

​Standard rate: £11 – £13 

Discounted rate for block bookings: £10- £11 per session

General

For those with at least six months Iyengar practice.  A  more challenging class, once you have mastered the basics we will work on inverted poses as well as lots more asanas and begin pranayama work.

​Standard rate: £13

Discounted rate for block bookings: £11 per session

Intermediate

Iyengar class for those with 2 years practice. In this class we will explore how we can benefit from deep regular study of yoga and pranayama, and start to integrate yoga philosophy into our lives.

​Standard rate: £15

Discounted rate for block bookings: £12 per session

Easy & Gentle

A slower paced Iyengar class. If you are recovering from an injury or an older student inquisitive about how yoga can help you keep moving come and try this class.

Discounted rate for block bookings: £10 per session

Men Only

Iyengar class for men. Not sure how to put this… so to summarise, if you want to try yoga but don’t want to be in a class of bendy women, then this is the class for you!

Yoga for Cyclists and Sports

A yoga class which focuses on poses and stretches designed to support and enhance your sporting activities and in particular, cyclists. We place emphasis on the various muscle groups improving strength, flexibility, stamina and recovery.

​Standard rate: £11

Discounted rate for block bookings: £10 per session

 

Therapy

Therapeutic Iyengar class. This class is designed for those with serious injuries or medical conditions. Please note: a place in class is by application only and requires an initial consultation with Jill Johnson.

Discounted rate for block bookings: £15 per session

Long Covid & Chronic Fatigue

Suitable for those suffering the after effects of any chronic illness including covid. A recuperative class to support your immune system whilst you recover from illness. If you are interested, please contact Jill Johnson directly by emailing her at jjyoga@mac.com
